KAYLEE!!!
WE
Daddy said we were going to see Swan Lake with my big sister. Daddy left me and Merri at a Cafe across the street from the Opera House where Swan Lake was playing while he picked up the tickets. When he got back he said “change of plans, we are going to see Annie”
I am still going to have a great time with Daddy and
Merri.

I had fun in Philly I saw the Liberty Bell and I toured the Betsy Ross House.
We also went to Independence Hall.
Inside the Hall we saw the the chair George Washington sat in while they were writing the Constitution. This was the same place that the Declaration of Independence was signed eleven years later. This is what we saw when we went there.
George Washington was sitting here.
Today is the 17th of March. In Boston, it is a holiday called Evacuation Day. Dad says Evacuation Day is the day the British were driven from Boston during the Revolutionary War. I say it’s St Patrick’s Day! My Dad and my brother are both named Patrick, so it’s a special day for my family. Daddy had to do something to the car, fix the brakes or whatever. While he played with the brakes, me and PJ played with the dog. Dad promised we could make something special after he finished with the car. We decided we would make chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting and green shamrocks.
First Dad made up a recipe, he always makes up his own recipes, it usually comes out good so I don’t mind.
We got to use the big mixer. We put the butter and sugar in and started mixing.
Next we added melted chocolate, eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
We got out another bowl and mixed together the dry ingredients. We put flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa in the bowl. Dad’s really funny, he wrote in his recipe to sift everything together but he just mixed it up with a fork.
We added the dry ingredients to the big mixer, put in some water and mixed some more.
So that’s how we made Shamrock Cupcakes. Dad is making dinner and as soon as we eat we get to eat our cupcakes. I can’t wait.
Daddy says when snow is in the forecast you have to make french toast. I really like french toast in the winter time. Snow was forecast overnight, so today Daddy and I made french toast.
Daddy says we make our french toast with eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon.
We were using a whole loaf of bread so we needed a lot of eggs. The some vanilla, sugar and cinnamon and beat everything together.
When you have it all beaten together it’s time to cook.
When it is all done you get to sit down and enjoy a yummy treat for breakfast.
This was great, I hope we get more snow tommorow!
On our way to school this morning I saw a duck on Salem Street. I said” “Daddy, look there’s a Duck across the street.” He looked over and sure enough there was a mallard pecking at some snow.
A Duck on Salem Street
Here is a picture of the duck. Right after Daddy took this a car came by and the duck ran away up the street. I think that the duck was a mommy duck looking for Valentine’s Day treats for her little ducklings. But one thing is for sure it`s not everyday you see a Duck on Salem Street so this must be my lucky day.
Wednesday January 22, 2014, No School Snow DAY!!!!
They told us yesterday at school that today would be a Snow Day. Daddy stayed home from work to entertain us. Me and my brother got up early and were playing with our toys. Dad was still sleeping and we wanted to wait until he had some coffee. Dad is not very entertaining before he has some coffee. Once Dad got up we had some breakfast and made a list of the things we wanted to do. First Dad made us clean up our toys while he had more coffee. Time to go out to walk the dog and see all the snow.
There wasn’t much snow on the ground but it was really cold out. We ran around in the snow while Daddy took care of Penny (that’s our dog).
This wasn’t snowball snow so we made Snow Angels.
We were out for about an hour but Daddy made us go home because Penny was shivering from the cold. We didn’t think it was cold until we got home where it was warm and toasty.
Daddy put a movie on for us. We watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1 and 2. Daddy made us pepperoni pizza for lunch. He did the dishes and fixed some lights. We could hear him in the bathroom sanding something. While the second movie was playing he started making rolls to go with the Mac & Cheese we will be having for dinner. Daddy also rolled out the Gingerbread dough and made us Gingerbread People to decorate.
OK, Dad put the Mac & Cheese in the oven. We have to get going or we won’t have time to play on PJ’s XBOX before dinner.
Hi, my name is KiKi and I am in kindergarten. Today is the Big Holiday Show at school. My class is singing “It Must be Santa” in the show. I will ask Daddy to take some pictures so I can post them later. One more thing, if anyone sees Santa tell him I have been a good girl
My name is PJ and my little sister is KiKi. We are going to tell you about what we are doing, what we are playing with and how much fun we are having.
